we recently used this funeral home when my grandmother died. They were very kind and sympathetic throughout, I know there aren't a ton of options in Eagle Grove but I would reccomend Foust.
We just had landscaping and trees done by these guys. The work was excellent and when they got done the yard looked fabulous. They worked fast. They got here one day and were gone the next.
We had a good experience here picking out the appliances for our new house. We told customer service when we walked in that we needed help and within 3-5 minutes we had a sales associate helping us. I didn't think their selection was huge, but it met our needs.
We used to take our dog here for grooming from the time they opened until we moved out of town. They had a small store that sold some dog toys/collars and also a small bakery where you could get treats for your pooch. She was always very nice. My mom would have her dog boarded here when she was out of town too.
I just stopped in here on Thursday to pick up some cocoa that I couldn't find anywhere else. They had it, of course, but it was $20. The saleslady didn't know much about the product, she tried to get off by telling me it was a "finer product" than what I would find at the store. But, I love their chocolate and I guess I shouldn't expect a mall employee to know too much about Dutch cocoa.
We just got my son's haircut here yesterday. The stylist was very good with him and did a great job. It was a 15 minute wait with no appt., so perfect for us as we were just at the mall killing time.
I bought a swaddle blanket in here for a friend. It was an item that I would have otherwise had to order online. They stock a variety of upscale items and most things are out of my price range, but they are super cute. They have furniture, bedding, and other baby items. They carry one kind of cloth diaper too.
I have been here for a pedicure once, and the nails turned out good. However, I didn't love the service. The workers were all youg (~20-25) and were talking about where they were going out partying that night and my girl was talking on the phone for like 10 minutes while she was working on my nails. It was a little awkward.
This is a newer kid's consignment shop. We found a few great tings last time we went in. I found a peter potty boys' urinal and a few pairs of jeans for my son. The potty was $20 (half full retail price) and the jeans (Gap) were $4/each. It is very organized, which is nice. I would recommend!
I have been here a few times with my mom. It is fun to look around at all of the old stuff. I do think some stuff is way overpriced, but I guess it is antiques, so what do I know. It is an enormous place though!
