Very laid back atmosphere. Nice private booths for coffee and study. Their coffee isn't that great though. A little better than Starbucks, but not nearly as good as other local shops. Their bread products are delicious. I can eat them all day!
They're okay. I've never had to get too involved. The staff doesn't seem to know much about what they're selling except for the TV guys.
I agree with the last post. I think the reason to them being busy is the fact that they have the bar. The food is hit or miss. Some days the steaks are so dry, it'll probably bounce a couple of times if dropped. The atmosphere is great. The wait can be in the "hours" even after you've been seated. Price is high for what you get.
I come by here about twice a week on my way to work in SLO. Their caramel machiato always come out creamy and good. I've never been inside, only at the drive thru. The Asian guy who's always there give really good customer service. He makes my drinks really fast too. I highly recommend this local coffee shop for those who seek quality and consistency.
Subway is my favorite sandwich place, but this particular location really sucks. The staff always gives attitude. They make you feel like every ingredient you ask for is an unnecessary extra. No "hellos" or "have a good day". Do not go here.
I only go here occasionally when I'm in this part of town. I frequent their other shop next to cool hand lukes. The staff here are very sharp and makes my caramel machiato with ease. It always come out perfect. I highly recommend.
