The service was great, friendly, attentive (and the main reason they're getting 3 stars). However, the food was not as up to par. Maybe I came here on an off night, who knows? But my mussels were way over salted (and paired with over salted french fries.) The paella was pretty EHHHHH. The food unfortunately made a poor first impression and I'm not sure I'd come back here again.
OMG. Beautiful! It reminded me of Altitude, only bigger and classier. Great place for drinks, especially with our awesome sandy eggo weather! I had a friend who knew the bartender and therefore hooked it up, so I can't comment on the prices. None the less, I'd come back here regardless!
Tracy is A-MAZING. Of course, I made the same mistake for 24 years by attempting to tweeze my own eyebrows. I came to Tracy and she shaped my eyebrows and now I see her every 2 weeks. She did an AWESOME job!!!! Definitely going to try her other spa services! The place is adorable, with very relaxing atmosphere (soothing music, aromatherapy scents). I practically asleep while she's waxing my brows (I didn't even know that was possible).
Love this place! All their coffee drinks are good. I tried the strawberry banana smoothie and the bacon/tomato bagel, all of which was yummy. It's a great place to study (minimal outlets), but the service is impeccable. The employees know nearly every customer by name (a rare find).
OHHHH EMMMM GEEE! Japanese bbq?! YUM! Awesome place for a date or a group. Yes, you grill your own food at your table...but that's part of the experience! Must try's: the kobe beef, the skirt steak and the seafood plate...melt in your mouth good. Seriously. The staff is really friendly and helpful, which was yet another plus. Oh and def. try the dessert. It's black sesame ice cream (which I was skeptical about)...but it was thee MOST pleasant of surprises!
Love this place! It's the equivalent of the Japanese .99 cent store! Only, everything is $1.50...I think the prices have gone up to about $1.80 (Hey, times are tough in this economy). But I come here for just about anything--gift bags, knick knacks, plates/dinnerware, etc. etc. It's a mini convenience store with A-MAZING prices!
I really like this place. The food is good, prices are reasonable...AND it's CLEEEAN! (unlike many of the Filipino places in National City...sorry but it's true! and I'm filipino btw). I think I've tried just about everything and always been pretty satisfied. I don't mind eating in there and catching up on some of my TFC, as it's always playing on the flat screen.
OH EM GEE. This place is fantabulous! Ok, I'll be the first to admit. Some times I get intimidated by Korean restaurants b/c I'm afraid I'll order the wrong thing and whatnot. The food is AWESOME! And the service is equally good. The owner himself often comes out to help you order if you're having any trouble deciding or even figuring out what each item is. The side dishes and appetizers are FREE and unlimited!!! So feel free to ask for seconds for all of your favorites! I tried to dolsot bibimbap, the galbi and the bulgogi, all of which was super tasty!! Parking is easy and if you have any trouble finding it, it's right next to Cheetah's...yes the strip club.
I love RK sushi! I know Sushi Deli is just a few doors up and always has a line out the door, but RK is a hidden little gem in this area! Definitely my favorite sashimi salad in SD! (so far anyway). The rolls are good and the chefs are friendly--often recommending all the good stuff! oh and did I mention it's CHEEEAP?!!! Good food at a great price!
Okay, so I am most definitely a carnivore at heart but Jyoti Bihanga is soooo goood! Their "neatloaf" is something you just gotta try and their chicken nuggets are super good...you can't even tell that they're not made of meat. The quinoa, spinach, and feta soup is super tasty too!
